With 15+ years of direct experience in public relations working alongside journalists, editors and producers from media organizations across the globe, I've mastered the art of compelling storytelling that resonates with audiences. This expertise now serves as the foundation for my comprehensive marketing and communications strategies that:
Identify your authentic brand voice
Create strategic communication across all channels
Create impact moments that earn attention
Build trust through vulnerability and transparency
Develop controlled storytelling opportunities
Transform your "why" into powerful consumer connections
No matter the industry, I serve as a strategic storytelling partner to executives and companies, ensuring their narratives resonate. At the end of the day, whether you are in retail, health tech, or the film industry, you still need a good story! My super power is seeing your communication needs from a bird's-eye view and then helping you own your narrative across every platform, from earned media to website content and social channels.
It is a privilege for me to help founders and brands discover and share the story only they can tell that transforms customers into community and transactions into lasting impact.

Hi, I’m Sarah Grap, a storyteller at heart and a strategist by trade. For more than 15 years, I’ve been helping brands, leaders, and creatives uncover their authentic voice and share it in ways that truly connect with people.
I launched Sarah Grap Public Relations (SGPR) to bring a more personal and purposeful approach to PR and communications. I don’t just place stories. I make sure they are told in a way that resonates, builds trust, and sparks meaningful connection. My work spans earned media, campaign development, entertainment publicity, and crisis communications. At the core it is always about finding the “why” behind the work and bringing it to life.
Before starting SGPR, I served as Vice President of PR at Carmichael Lynch, where I led large-scale accounts and guided teams across PR, social, and influencer strategy. Prior to that, I spent more than a decade leading public relations for Mall of America where I guided strategy for one of the most recognizable retail and entertainment destinations in the world. Working alongside media at every level (local, national and global), I directed communications for more than 400 events hosted at the tourist destination each year in addition to groundbreaking consumer retail launches. My responsibilities also included overseeing crisis communications, onsite entertainment publicity management, and spearheading fashion and art show productions.
Throughout my career, I’ve successfully placed stories in top media outlets including The New York Times, NBC Nightly News, People Magazine, The Today Show, Good Morning America, and The Wall Street Journal.
What drives me today is the same spark that has carried me through every stage of my career. I love helping people and brands recognize the value of their own story and helping amplify it in a way that drives business and creates lasting impact.

I live in Minneapolis, MN with my husband and son.
Our dogs are Goose and Winnie! My family has always rescued and rehabbed dogs (but also any animal who needs help, which is why we also have a rescue parakeet who sometimes sings pretty, but most of the time screeches at us.)
I’m a desert dweller and frequent Palm Springs whenever time allows (especially during MN winters!)
My husband and I love mid-century architecture and are currently restoring a 1966 time capsule home in Minneapolis.
My first job out of college was as a production assistant for the reality show “Mall Cops: Mall of America,” which aired for one season on TLC.
On any given night, you can find me watching basketball. (Go Lynx and T-Wolves!) However, sports is still a new concept for me, so go easy on the kind of questions you throw my way.
